Baseline Survey in Okharpauwa

March 15, 2015: Volunteers Initiative Nepal (VIN) has planned to increase social welfare volunteer program 16 KM far from Kathmandu, at Okharpauwa VDC and started to collect related data. For this welfare program local volunteers were selected from Okharpauwa. After volunteer selection they were trained and they were sent in different groups to collect data. In the first stage they were send in different homes to collect needed information. And in second stage they will take social mapping and community geographical information. During 9-15th march 2015 volunteers take help from community and geographical data, their resources, facilities, houses, population, family information, economic condition, health etc. VIN collects all information of that areas collected by VIN’s volunteers and local community. It’s also sample of social mapping program. After that volunteers will do FGD. They will collect needed information about schools. After collecting all information VIN will analyze and will design needed programs in the community.
