International Volunteers Celebrating Dashain

International Volunteers celebrated Dashain, one of the major festivals in Nepal. This festival is celebrated for 15 days and for 10 days all offices remain closed. People visit families and relatives and worship God and Goddesses. The festival is celebrated throughout Nepal amongst Hindu people. In Nepal there are over 80% Hindu people. The festival brings all families and relatives together.

The main day for Dashain is Day 10th and is called Vijayadashami. People receive Tika from their Seniors. Our International volunteers also received tika from local people and get chance to know about Nepali language and culture  from close.
