First Aid Training in Jitpurphedi
first aid
VIN has been facilitating primary health treatment training to the women of Jitpurphedi. Viewing the high demand and necessity of primary health treatment, VIN has conducted this training for last few days. The training was conducted in Pachmane, Dadagaun, Devisthan, Jitpur and tinpiple with the help of our national and international volunteers. This training directly benefited 90 women participants. The women were trained on health, hygiene and sanitation education, first aid training and also how to treat someone who suddenly becomes unconscious. They attended the training for two and half hour each day.
The women were keen to receive this kind of training and were actively involved during the training session. They also perform it practically. They believed VIN has provided them with great opportunity to involve in trainings like this.
The majority of rural people are not aware about the consequences of practicing unhygienic way of living. They are also not educated on the immediate need of primary health care as well. You can help by joining hands with VIN to address the immediate need of Primary health care treatment among the rural and poor inhabitants of Nepal. You can involve as a volunteer or intern in our various projects such as Community Health and Medical care, health Hygiene and sanitation education under VIN’s Public Health program.
