Volunteers Initiative Nepal put together the computer technology volunteer program, in recognition of information technology as a fast-moving, efficient means of communication. If the locals learn some basic IT skills, then they will be much better connected with the rest of the country and even the world.

VIN aims to raise awareness of social, political, and health issues among the village people in order to ensure they are progressing properly. Your role as a volunteer within this program will be to teach basic IT to students in public / community schools as well as their teachers, community youth, women. An alternative to this would be to help out in the main VIN office in Balaju, Kathmandu, where you may help maintain and improve VIN’s online websites.
