From 01/06/2013 to 17/07/2013

VIN was helpful from the very beginning in ensuring that I would be able to do something relevant to my major. I was placed at Kaule Ev, and agroforestry program about an hour north of Kathmandu. It was inspiring to see farmers show interest in improving their agricultural practices in order to create a more sustainable farm, as well as give them a little extra income that they can use towards health funds, or sending their children to school. Eva, and everyone from VIN were incredible hosts as they were more than accommodating and willing to adjust for any requests I had. I know that when I return to Nepal, I’ll be looking to volunteer with VIN again
