From 01/06/2013 to 06/08/2013

Working as a volunteer Co-ordinator for VIN has been a truly rewarding experience. The post is a delight in that you become a part of the management side of VIN and are responsible for seeing to the well-being of the projects and volunteers which are commonly placed out in the rural areas. This affords you with a wide and fulfilling experience in that you familiarize yourself with the many facets of Nepali life, the workings of VIN, the projects and the all-enriching experience in getting to know the volunteers and facilitating their stay and work in Nepal. Sharing my day and work with the VIN staff was, moreover, always a pleasure and a factor which made my stay all the more satisfying, and something I will miss dearly.
