It is only when you are physically here in Nepal do you experience the beauty of Nepal and the hospitality of the nepali people. I stay with a host family in the jitpur community and I was welcomed with music and dancing.
It is a since 10 minute walk to the Health post with the great view of the sun rising above the terraced hill side. The VIN doctor at the Health post is Dr.Laxmi and my role is to help him with talking vital reading of patients and dressing wound. On days when the Community Health post is closed, I will be teaching basic oral and hang hygiene at the local school. The Nepal volunteering experience was fanfare and I will recommended it to any volunteer who is seeking an adventure and an opportunity to be immoral in and learn a new cultural.
