Welcome to Volunteering Nepal’s program, dedicated to empowering children with intellectual disabilities, including those with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, Traumatic brain injury, Hydrocephalus in Nepal. In Nepal, many children with intellectual disabilities, such as Autism and Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, Traumatic brain injury, and Hydrocephalus, face significant challenges. They encounter discrimination, exclusion, and limited access to quality education and healthcare. Volunteering Nepal, as a non-profit organization, is steadfast in its mission to enhance the lives of these children, ensuring they receive the support they rightfully deserve. We support those children by placing volunteers who work for these specific cases.

- According to the World Health Organization, an estimated 200 million people have intellectual disabilities worldwide.
- In Nepal, an estimated 500,000 children with intellectual disabilities like Autism and Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, Fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, Traumatic brain injury, and Hydrocephalus.
