Now, on my last day here in Nepal I remember how I felt 12 weeks ago, when I started volunteering with VIN. 12 weeks seemed to be an endless time and I was wondering if I will be able to adopt myself to the Nepali culture and if I will be able to do some useful work. The time flew away and I love the country, my host family and I am looking back to a wonderful time working for VIN. In the women empowerment program I was able to do a lot of different things which gave me new challenges every couple of weeks. The VIN employees where always ready to answer questions and offered their assistance if I was looking for some specific items to buy or needed directions because I wanted to visit new places at the weekend. I will miss Nepal, my host family and new friends a lot and hope that I will be able to visit them again soon.
