Statistics of Need
Nepal faces significant challenges in achieving gender equality, with women often experiencing discrimination and limited opportunities. Access to education, healthcare, and economic empowerment remains a concern. Our project seeks to address these issues and uplift women from marginalised communities.
- In Nepal, only 57% of girls attend primary school, compared to 72% of boys.
- Only 25% of women are employed, compared to 80% of men.
- Women make up only 20% of the national parliament.
