Transitional Home Construction Workshop

Volunteers initiative Nepal has been working on post disaster relief project to help the victims of the earthquake and this project have been the primary need of the community. Recently VIN has been working on building transitional home for 200 houses which is nearly finished. For this project, VIN has mobilized 45 to 50 skilled manpower and local volunteers.
According to need, VIN has been increasing the number of volunteers. In order to make the volunteers able to know about this project, how to be safe from the danger, first aid and how to construct houses effectively; VIN conducted one day orientation on 8 July, 2015 for 22 volunteers to educate volunteers on these matters. This event was organized at Jitpur School. This helped the volunteers to build houses and work efficiently and safely in the community. Before this orientation, VIN already gave trainings to 30 local volunteers to work and builf transitional houses.
