Transitional Home Construction Program

VIN has started the shelter building program with an objective of helping to make transitional home construction in Jitpur community. VIN has been helping to construct shelter and clean out the destroyed house. This program was staring after great earthquake and it is continue with international organization and volunteers. seventeen international volunteers, twenty seven national volunteers and twelve skill labors are working the transitional home construction in community .There are 162 household completed at the moment.
VIN has made different activities before transitional home construction eg co-ordinate Municipality office, community representative, women groups members and observe the family condition before materials provide. VIN staffs were continuing manage materials, co-ordination with family and follow-up construction work.It has completed to build 162 personal shelter. The trained volunteers and skill labor have been involved to make temporary house in places like Dandagaun, Paanchmane, Tinpiple, Jitpur, where earthquake had affected the most in order to help the victims by construction work.
This project is very essential for the community and it must be completed during the rainy season. This program is being supported and sponsored by the volunteers and international organization as they are sponsoring the justa pata, local volunteers and skill labors. Families are involving to do work with construction teems for the completing the construction work . The community people are very happy with VIN , sponsor organization and volunteers and they want continue this project for needy family. VIN will be continue of construction work in more house this month as well.
