toilet construction
Toilet construction has been main focus of Volunteers Initiative Nepal(VIN) from the beginning.VIN has constructed about hundreds of toilet for the community with the help from the co-operative, international volunteers and the local peoples. Toilet construction has been a main problem of the community as they are unaware about the sanitation and community health.
Initially it was very difficult to convince people about the health sanitations as they were unaware and did not want to share the problems. And after the awareness campaign in health sanitation has been launched, people became friendly and understood the importance of health sanitation and eager to build toilet. Slowly people got interested in the project launched by the VIN and gradually the number has boosted. People has known the importance and eagerly participated in the project. Now each and every house has toilet in Dadhaghaun.
Lancelot who was the international volunteer from France had built two toilets in his two months projects in Devisthan and Dadhagaun. The project went preety well and finished on time with the help from local people. It was the great achievement for the people. Within this two month he also learn a lot from the community-making basket (doko), nepali language, about the culture and people
