Nepal, the beautiful Himalayan Kingdom lying on the lap of Mt. Everest, is one of the poorest countries in the world. The 'Shangri-la' of people's imaginations is certainly there to see, but if you look beneath the surface, there is an enormous need for social and educational improvement.
Volunteering with VIN will give you the opportunity to live and work in Nepali communities and learn more about this beautiful culture. VIN runs volunteer programmes for people of all ages and all nationalities, working in areas where volunteers can be of most lasting benefit to Nepal and develop themselves at the same time.
