Volunteers Initiative Nepal is an educational organization, which was established by educated volunteers in 2006 A.D. Sentence. This organization, with advice from community leaders, has been implementing different programs for children, women, teachers, for their capacity building, with mutual understanding and coordination.
Specially, talking about the program in school, it will be better to talk about children Club here. From the very beginning of its commencement in the community, it has established 7 children’s club in each school of this community, Jitpur. Children Club has helped students to be extrovert, show their hidden talents, increase participation, develop leadership skills, work effectively in a group etc.
After the establishment of the children’s club, students have organized different group activities. The members from each individual club have also made a united children’s club. The club has been a good platform for them to conduct different joint activities, such as publishing wall magazine, inter-school competition, co-curricular activities as cultural program, community awareness program, environmental awareness program etc.
This type of co-curricular activities will help children to be a role model, capable, skilled and qualified, and to be aware, practically educated on human rights, environmental consciousness, which gives a hope that they will play a great role in social transformation.
We, the teachers of schools, hope that VIN will work with full dedication in future too. Thank You!
