You will teach at different Buddhist monasteries and nunneries, Swoyambhu area, Kathmandu. They are situated on hills and lap of the hills, East of the Swayambhu stupa and Kathmandu's Ring Road. Because of this position it is a nice and quiet retreat from the hectic city. Okhaldhunga is located north east part of Nepal. It's 400 miles away from the capital.  Okhaldhunga is a very remote and rural community not to mention a welcome escape from the pollution of Kathmandu valley. VIN’s main community-based pilot project is located at Jitpur, a rural community surrounded by woods, hills and fields. It lies 11 kilometres from the capital on the outskirts of the Kathmandu Valley near the beautiful Nagarjun forest reserve.
