One of the Community Sites of VIN is Jitpur, located on the outskirts of the Kathmandu valley. It's just 10/12km away from the capital.  Jitpur is a very charming community not to mention a welcome escape from the pollution of Kathmandu centre. We have been running different projects in the site, e.g. Child and Youth development, Teacher Development, School Management and PTA Strengthening, Child Sponsorship, Women Literacy, Income Generation, Early Childhood Development and much more. We place volunteers in the area to support these programmes and monitor development. Come and give your hand to make the difference for these marginalized people.

It's 400 miles away from the capital.  Okhaldhunga is a very charming community not to mention a welcome escape from the pollution of Kathmandu valley. You can go there either by plane (45 minutes flight) by bus.
